Returns & Refund Policy

Every item on MadeByHeris handmade or homemade to order by a real woman-led small business — here's exactly how returns and refunds work if something isn't right.

7-day return window

You can request a return within 7 days of your order being marked delivered. Go to My Account, open the order, and select "Request a return" with a short reason. Our team reviews every request personally — most are decided within 48 hours.

What's eligible

  • Item arrived damaged, defective, or broken in transit
  • Wrong item, colour, or size was sent
  • Item significantly different from its description or photos

What's not eligible

  • Homemade food items (thekua, nimki, snacks) once delivered in good condition — perishable goods can't be resold, for hygiene reasons
  • Custom or made-to-order colour requests, once already crafted to your specification
  • Change of mind after 7 days from delivery
  • Items damaged after delivery through normal wear

How refunds are paid

Paid online (PhonePe): once your return is approved, the refund is issued automatically to the original payment method — your bank/UPI app usually shows it within 5-7 business days.

Cash on Delivery:since there's no card or UPI on file, we'll ask for your bank account or UPI ID after approval and transfer the refund directly, typically within 3-5 business days.

Damaged or wrong item?

We photograph and pack every order carefully, but transit damage can still happen. If your order arrives damaged or isn't what you ordered, request a return with photos of the issue and we'll make it right — full refund or replacement, your choice.
